The Tartan Gift Shop" - highland dress outfitters for ladies & gentlemen - is a family run establishment first established in 1889 with a shop in
Princes Street in
Edinburgh.
After 100 years, in 1989, the short move to the world famous
Royal Mile was made, and in 2007 continued success allowed a second shop, "The Royal Mile Trading Company", to be opened just a short walk away.
We have always specialised in kilt making and crafts, and have gradually extended our range to include all the accessories you would expect, such as sporrans, dirks & shoes, together with a full range of associated clan goods - rugs, pins, key rings, ties, scarves, etc. - and we also make dress and dance kilts for adults and children.
